Position Summary
In a senior living environment, the Medication Technician provides care with a strong emphasis on dignity, respect, and resident-centered service. This includes engaging with residents in a professional and compassionate manner, supporting individualized care plans, and fostering a safe, comfortable, and home-like atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct, hands-on care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
- Monitor residents and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
- Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
- Follow care plans and facility procedures to ensure quality care
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
- High school diploma or GED
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and committed to providing quality service
