The Exchange is hiring line cooks for our New Albany kitchen and for our brand new location opening inside Hotel Genevieve in Louisville's NuLu neighborhood. Tell us which spot works best for you, or let us know if you're open to either.
What you'll do
Work the line during busy dinner and weekend brunch service. Prep, plate, and keep pace when the tickets stack up. Follow recipes and plating standards while still bringing your own speed and instincts to the station. Keep your area clean and organized because a fast kitchen is a clean kitchen.
What we're looking for
Line cook experience in a full service restaurant. Someone who can move fast without cutting corners. A team player who shows up on time and communicates during a rush instead of going quiet. Food handler's card, or willingness to get one.
What you get
$16 to $18 per hour depending on experience. Consistent scheduling. Room to grow with a growing restaurant group, especially with a brand new kitchen opening in NuLu. A team that actually likes working together.
