We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher/Assistant Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom dynamics, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Provide care for preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Observe and assess children's development, adapting activities to meet individual needs.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that supports children with disabilities or special needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in early childhood education or daycare settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and staff members.
- A nurturing attitude with a genuine love for working with young children.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is desirable but not mandatory at the time of hiring. Candidates must have First Aid & CPR certification along with other classes before the school year begins.
