Responsibilities of a Body Shop Technician entail:

Work with the Foreman to determine reparability and to prioritize tasks of the job

Apply decal designs to trucks after cleaning surfaces

Visually inspect parts after processing for defects
-
Identify nonconforming or defective components and take appropriate corrective action

Perform routine maintenance on polishing machines, including daily cleaning and routine lubrication

Maintain or exceed efficiency goals

Requirements:
The requirements to be a Body Shop Technician:

Must be at least 18 years old
-
High School diploma or GED required
-
Prior Body Shop experience preferred

Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and DOT medical card
-
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 150 pounds
