The Opportunity
The purpose of the Logistics & Building Services Manager is to provide day to day leadership in the running of the warehouse, maintenance, and dispatch department. To ensure all procedures, including WHS, pertaining to the warehouse are ‘best practise’ and all warehouse staff are trained sufficiently. To ensure all packages are appropriately packed and dispatched at contracted time in accordance with customer requirements. You will also lead the maintenance team, ensuring equipment and building systems are well maintained and adhere to all safety standards.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor is essential
- Experience in industrial maintenance, facility maintenance, or related trade
- Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
- Hands-on commitment to get the job done
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to direct and coordinate operations
- Strong Organisational and time management skills
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of freight booking software and MS office package
- Strong work ethic through high standards of personal and professional behavior
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop efficient and cost-effective solutions.
