Job Overview

Duties
- Provide attentive care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, learning, and social skills
- Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary
- Support behavioral management strategies to encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages exploration while ensuring safety standards are met
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus, but not rquired
- Strong skills in behavior management and classroom experience are preferred
- Ability to engage children through teaching techniques that foster curiosity and learning
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families and team members
