Metro Welding Supply Corp., a family-owned and operated business since 1937, has grown to become one of the largest independent gas distributors and welding supply providers in Southeast Michigan. We are currently seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate / Truck Loader to join our afternoon shift team.
In this role, you'll work alongside an experienced team loading delivery trucks, filling gas cylinders, preparing customer orders, and helping keep our warehouse operating safely and efficiently. This hands-on position offers paid training, opportunities to learn new skills, and room for advancement within our growing company.

Full-Time | Afternoon Shift | Monday-Friday | No Weekends
Starting at $17.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Filling compressed gas cylinders
- Operating forklifts
- Assisting with general warehouse operations
- Preparing customer orders for delivery
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance
- Steel-toe boots required
- Strong attendance record and dependable work ethic
- Prior warehouse or industrial experience is a plus but not required. We provide paid training.
