**Occupational Therapist Assistant OTA**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Silvis Center Rehab and Care in Silvis, Illinois. As an OTA, you will play a vital role in helping our patients regain independence and reach their full potential. In this per diem position, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to design and implement customized therapy plans that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
**Responsibilities:**
* Assist occupational therapists in conducting patient evaluations and assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness
* Implement treatment plans and provide individualized therapy sessions to patients of varying ages and abilities
* Use a variety of therapeutic techniques and strategies to improve patient function, strength, and mobility
* Monitor and record patient progress, identifying areas of improvement and adjusting treatment plans as needed
* Collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and rehab specialists, to ensure comprehensive care
* Maintain accurate and timely records, including patient charts and documentation
**Requirements:**
* Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
* Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
* Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document patient information and treatment plans
