Fee-For-Service Psychotherapist
New Generation Mental Health Counseling is a private practice whose mission is to provide our clients with the highest quality evidence-based psychotherapy. We specialize in working with adolescents and adults struggling with emotional, behavioral, and relational difficulties. We are looking for a passionate clinician driven to provide quality care to their clients. We are looking for individuals who excel in an independent fast-paced environment. NGMHC will provide you with billing and referral services. Compensation is Fee-For-Service, ranging from $40-$45 based on experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Minimum of 20 weekly sessions
- Maintain treatment records and reports, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Outreaching potential clients and managing referrals.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge and understanding of clinical counseling principles, programs, and methodology
- Knowledge and regular use of evidence-based practices. (ACT, CBT, DBT)
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
- Professional Liability Insurance is needed before hire
- License in New York State in good standing
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of two years experience post master's clinical experience
- Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling is required.
- MHC-LP Eligible
