Hughes Enterprises, a leader in appliance and laundry parts distribution, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing technical parts support, driving inside sales, and ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment through shipping and receiving.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys solving customer problems, builds strong customer relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Pay Range: $21-$24/hour + commissions
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers by phone, email, and in person with parts identification, pricing, order entry, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Identify replacement parts using catalogs, diagrams, manufacturer resources, and online lookup tools.
- Process quotes and orders accurately while ensuring timely shipment of in-stock orders and communicating backorders.
- Build customer relationships through follow-up, account management, and proactive sales outreach.
- Upsell related parts and accessories to meet individual and team sales goals.
- Coordinate parts orders with service technicians, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
- Receive, ship, and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper inventory transactions.
- Process returns, warranty claims, vendor claims, and collections while providing excellent customer service.
- Support department operations, including e-commerce updates, marketing initiatives, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
- Inside sales or customer service experience preferred.
- Appliance parts experience a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Ability to learn appliance troubleshooting and parts identification.
- Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and shipping platforms (UPS/USPS) is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
