Join our team as an Outside Operations and Pro Shop Attendant! In this dynamic role, you will be the welcoming face for guests, ensuring smooth operations both on the course and within the pro shop. Your enthusiasm for guest service, combined with your ability to manage various operational tasks, will create memorable experiences for visitors of all ages. Whether assisting with golfers with their clubs, check-in, and driving range maintenance, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality, customer service, and retail.
Duties
- Prepare golf carts for daily play by staging carts, cleaning, washing, and stocking each cart.
- Welcome members and guests with a friendly professional attitude, assisting golfers with loading and unloading golf bags.
- Clean golf clubs and engage with golfers at the end of their round.
- Maintain the driving range area, picking and cleaning golf balls, setting up and taking down equipment, and bringing range balls to the pro shop for sale.
- Check in golfers for their tee times, taking payment, operating the point-of-sale system for merchandise and other sales.
- Follow opening and closing procedure for the pro shop and POS system, maintaining accurate cash counts, a clean operating environment, and restocking merchandise.
- Answer telephone calls, customer inquiries, and booking tee times.
- Other duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- At least 16 years old with a valid driver's license
- Proven customer service experience
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to work in all weather conditions
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal experience
- Dependable, punctual, and professional
- Interest in golf is a plus

Pay: $15.00 per hour
