We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our growing Podiatry Practice. We have multiple locations throughout Jacksonville, FL.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical office setting and a passion for helping patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist podiatrist in providing patient care, including obtaining medical histories and assisting with basic medical procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain equipment and supplies.
- Follow up with patients regarding treatment plans and test results.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information on procedures, treatments, and medications.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical charts.
- Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting, podiatry experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems and basic computer skills.
