Experienced Dog Groomer – 50% Commission + 100% Tips
Pampered Pooches is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Dog Groomer to join our Pompton Lakes, NJ team.

COMPENSATION
- 50% commission on grooming services
- Keep 100% of your tips
- Estimated earnings equivalent to approximately $25–$45+ per hour, depending on appointment volume, services performed, experience, and schedule

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform professional grooming services based on breed standards and client requests
- Provide breed-specific cuts, scissoring, clipping, bathing, drying, brushing, and finishing
- Conduct client consultations at drop-off to understand grooming preferences and each dog's individual needs
- Handle every dog safely, patiently, and professionally throughout the grooming process
- Communicate with pet parents and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grooming station
- Work collaboratively with our team to provide an exceptional experience for pets and their owners
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Professional dog grooming experience
- Strong scissoring, clipping, bathing, drying, and finishing skills
- Knowledge of breed-specific cuts and grooming techniques
- Ability to work confidently and independently
- Safe and compassionate dog-handling skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and pride in your work
- Weekend availability preferred
