Forensic Team Manager – Adult Outpatient Services-Dayville, CT

Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Forensic Team Manager who is committed to delivering client-centered behavioral health services while providing leadership and support for our Forensic and Jail Diversion programs.
In this role, you will partner closely with local police departments and first responders to support individuals experiencing mental health crises, offer timely follow-up assessments, and ensure coordinated, person-centered care for those with complex needs.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong clinical expertise who prioritizes dignity, safety, and recovery in every interaction. This individual will support and guide staff, maintain high-quality and compliant programming, and build meaningful partnerships across community systems to ensure individuals receive accessible, integrated, and responsive care.

What You Will Do (Day-to Day):
- Partner with police, first responders, and community providers to support individuals during and after mental health crises.
- Provide guidance and support to your team, helping them navigate challenging situations and client needs.
- Ensure services are delivered in a way that is compassionate, respectful, and client-centered.
- Oversee coordination of care, including follow-ups and connections to appropriate services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- Help ensure programs run smoothly while maintaining quality, consistency, and compliance.
- Support your team in creating positive, recovery-focused outcomes for the individuals they serve.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
Salary Range: $75,000-80,000 (based on experience)
Minimum Qualifications:
LCSW, LMFT, LPC required.
Three years of relevant direct clinical care experience is required.
- Experience as a clinical supervisor preferred.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Be able to produce a clear, concise and detailed crisis and safety assessment.
Clinical experience with clients with substance abuse problems, adults with SPMI, Dual Diagnosis, and Trauma is highly desired.
Work Location: In-person. This role requires a hands-on presence to deliver the best care possible. You will work directly with clients on-site and in the local community.
