We are currently seeking a skilled Installer / Fabricator of metal products in our Austell, GA facility. Successful applicant will work well with others, have dependable transportation, report to work on time, travel as needed for out of town work, and be able to pass a drug test and background check. Construction experience is a plus, and must have a valid class C driver’s license.
Required Skills:
- Use of tape measure
- Experience with common hand tools
- Core Drill, Layout
- Able to read blueprints
- Speak fluent English
- Add & subtract fractions
- Experience with Radial Arm Saws, Band Saws, Punch Press & Vertical Mill & Drill Press
Specific Job Duties:
Installation - work as a part of a two person team installing handrails, which at times, may require Applicant to work overtime in order to meet customer deadlines. Field / install work is approximately 50% of this position.
Fabricator – work translating working drawings into fabricated pipes, tubes and details. Duties include: miter cuts on pipe, square and rectangular tubes, channels, etc. Punch press copes, mill or grind fitting. Drilling or milling of holes. Bending of pipe & tubes using Mandal Bender.
