We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in busy practice in Brooklyn. As a Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders, including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
This will be part time role that can be potentially become full time working along side medical director.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, including medication management and non-pharmacologic interventions
- Conduct regular follow-up visits to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide education and support
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach
- Provide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize patient care delivery
- Perform comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $135,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
