Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychotherapist to join our dynamic mental health team. Duties
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments and clinical evaluations using standardized tools and ICD coding (ICD-9, ICD-10) to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Deliver individual, group, family, and youth therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and behavioral therapy.
- Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety during acute episodes of distress or risk of harm.
- Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and treatment planning protocols.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, and educators to coordinate comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field; licensure or certification as required by FL state law. Interns will be considered. (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, RCSWI, etc.)
- Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities; experience with co-occurring disorders is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral health interventions, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and trauma-focused therapies.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems for remote patient care delivery.
- Ability to perform mental health assessments using ICD-9/ICD-10 coding standards; experience with CPT coding is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations effectively while adhering to clinical ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards.
- Experience working in inpatient or outpatient settings; hospital experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health diagnoses and treatments; familiarity with clinical research methodologies is beneficial.

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
