About the Opportunity
AlignaWorX is seeking an Applied AI Digital Content & YouTube Growth Specialist to help expand the organization's digital reach through strategic content optimization, audience growth, analytics, and creator platform management.
This project-based internship is designed for individuals who already possess experience with YouTube, digital content strategy, analytics, and creator platforms. Interns will contribute to live projects supporting AI education, workforce development, nonprofit initiatives, and public speaking while helping grow an emerging digital media presence.
This is not an introductory marketing internship. We are seeking individuals who can contribute immediately by applying existing knowledge to real-world digital growth initiatives.
Position Overview
The Applied AI Digital Content & YouTube Growth Specialist is responsible for maximizing the reach and performance of digital content across YouTube and other creator platforms.
This role focuses on optimization rather than content creation. Working closely with the content production and social media teams, this individual will ensure published content is discoverable, searchable, and positioned for long-term audience growth.
The ideal candidate understands how data, SEO, audience behavior, and AI tools work together to increase visibility and engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Optimize YouTube videos for search and audience discovery.
- Write compelling video titles, descriptions, and metadata.
- Research keywords and recommend content topics.
- Create and organize playlists that improve viewer retention.
- Analyze YouTube Studio metrics and identify opportunities for growth.
- Monitor audience engagement and viewing trends.
- Recommend publishing schedules based on analytics.
- Assist with Patreon strategy and creator community engagement.
- Develop recommendations for improving watch time, click-through rates, and subscriber growth.
- Collaborate with the creative team to align content strategy with organizational goals.
- Utilize AI tools to streamline research, optimization, and reporting.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should already demonstrate experience in:
- YouTube Studio
- Content optimization
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Digital analytics
- Audience growth strategies
- Content planning
- Digital marketing fundamentals
- Data interpretation
Experience using one or more of the following is preferred:
- TubeBuddy
- vidIQ
- Google Analytics
- Google Trends
- Keyword research platforms
- Creator analytics tools
Applicants should also have experience using AI productivity tools such as:

- Gemini
- Claude
- Microsoft Copilot
- Perplexity
- Other AI-assisted research and productivity tools
