12-MONTH, TENURE TRACK POSITION
Requirements:
High school diploma required, post secondary study preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
Special Education and budgeting experience preferred.
Job Goals:
Fulfill specific functions and initiate leadership to create an efficient and effective office environment.
Performance Responsibilities:

Greets visitors and public in a respectful and courteous manner maintaining required security procedures.

Accepts incoming mail, deliveries and packages, sorting and routing to appropriate recipients, including school/office supplies.

Receives, screens and directs incoming phone calls, and maintains a reliable log of all calls received.

Assists parents, staff and students when assigned to a school.

Facilitates and directs parents, staff and students in regard to specific department and/or school issues.

Processes regular and periodic confidential and evaluative typing of personnel performance assessments and correspondence.

Processes regular and periodic confidential documentation for local, state and national reports as assigned.

Compiles and maintains organizational database.

Types, files and performs other related office tasks as assigned.

Maintains confidentiality related to the content of information received and/or processed.
Salary:
Following established JTEA Salary Guide ranging from $53,066 to $70,096, commensurate with experience
