Job Title: Recall Service Remedy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Recall Service Remedy Specialist to support critical vehicle safety and recall activities. In this role, you will analyze vehicle concerns, evaluate service and repair solutions, coordinate technical investigations, and work closely with engineering, service, and cross-functional teams to develop effective remedies. This position is ideal for automotive professionals who enjoy solving complex technical challenges, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and making a direct impact on vehicle quality and customer satisfaction.
- Review safety investigations to assess potential root causes, scope, complexity, and possible remedy solutions
- Conduct recall service analysis by reviewing repair procedures, engineering reports, repair concerns, CAD data, tools, parts catalogs, fastener catalogs, and chemical catalogs
- Order, inspect, and evaluate parts and components
- Locate, inspect, and assess vehicles supporting investigation activities
- Collaborate with engineering, service, and cross-functional teams to understand repair solutions, required parts, materials, and service operations
- Coordinate and lead multiple recall-related projects while maintaining quality and on-time delivery
- Coordinate laboratories, vehicles, tools, and parts required for remedy trials and service validation activities
- Participate in and support laboratory events, vehicle inspections, and remove/install evaluations
- Track project milestones, identify risks, provide status updates, and ensure completion of action items
- Support investigation tracking, project documentation, scheduling, and meeting coordination
- Assist with process development and continuous improvement efforts related to recall and remedy activities
- Serve as backup support for leadership activities when required
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Automotive Technology, or another technical discipline
- 5–8 years of OEM automotive experience in service engineering, vehicle engineering, vehicle development, technical support, or a related technical field
- Strong understanding of automotive systems including suspension, brakes, electrical systems, powertrain systems, diagnosis, and repair processes
- Knowledge of dealership service operations and repair procedures
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
- Strong PC proficiency including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, CAD, AI/Copilot, and related tools
- Ability to collect, analyze, and communicate technical information clearly
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, initiative, and follow-through
- Preferred experience with Stellantis systems, products, processes, or service and engineering operations
- Preferred understanding of EBOM, SBOM, AMPS, Change Notices, and CAD systems
- Preferred knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and purchasing operations
- ASE certification(s) strongly preferred
