Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned CNC Lathe Machinist with strong problem-solving skills to join our team. The successful candidate will independently perform complex setups, operate will minimal supervision, and consistently produce parts to prints.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, ensuring optimal performance and precision.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications to produce accurate parts.
- Program CNC lathes using G-code and M-code.
- Run production on CNC lathes while holding tight tolerances.
- Conduct machine calibration, tooling setup, and adjustments to achieve tight tolerances.
- Perform quality inspections using precision measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimensions and surface finishes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of machining processes, measurements, and inspection results for quality control records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
*****Dual Turret experience a plus.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
