Position Summary:
We are seeking a caring and motivated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or LPC-Associate) with a strong interest in play therapy to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys working with children and families in a supportive, collaborative, and faith-informed environment. Supervision is available for LPC-Associates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual counseling and play therapy to children and adolescents.
- Conduct intake assessments, create treatment plans, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with parents, schools, and other professionals to support the child’s progress.
- Participate in team meetings, peer consultations, and ongoing training opportunities.
- Uphold professional ethical standards and stay informed on best practices in play therapy and child mental health.
Qualifications:
- Licensed as an LPC or LPC-Associate in the state of Texas.
- Strong interest or training in play therapy; working toward or holding RPT certification is a plus.
- Experience working with children, teens, and families is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and clinical skills.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to align with the values and mission of Restore Family Counseling.
