Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Police Officer with TCOLE (Texas Commission on Law Enforcement) certification to join our dedicated law enforcement team. Responsibilities
- Enforce local, state, and federal laws, including traffic laws, criminal statutes, and ordinances
- Conduct patrols using vehicles to monitor neighborhoods, public spaces, and high-traffic areas
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents, providing an appropriate and professional law enforcement response
- Investigate crimes through evidence collection, surveillance techniques, criminal investigations, and report writing
- Execute arrest procedures while adhering to legal protocols such as search and seizure law and use of force training
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and conflict management skills to de-escalate tensions
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, investigations, and reports in accordance with procedural law requirements
- Engage in community outreach efforts to foster positive relationships between law enforcement and residents
Skills
- Strong knowledge of criminal law, criminal procedure, evidence law, and local ordinances
- Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail and clarity
- Proficiency in patrol techniques and criminal investigation methods
- Ability to operate a standard passenger car safely under various conditions
- Physical conditioning necessary for patrol duties, arrests, searches, and other law enforcement activities
- Leadership qualities with the ability to manage stressful situations effectively
- Prior experience or background in law enforcement or military service is a plus

Pay: $26.99 - $28.63 per hour
