Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using various brewing methods and equipment.
- Handle food preparation and serving tasks in accordance with food safety standards and hygiene protocols.
- Operate POS systems.
- Manage customer orders with a friendly attitude, ensuring quick service and accurate delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas to ensure a safe and inviting environment.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and monitoring product freshness.
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality service.
Experience and Requirements
- Previous barista experience of at least 6 months is required; specific training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Must be able to work closing and weekend shifts.
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques.
- Experience in retail or food industry roles that require serving customers efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
