MobiMed Plus is expanding its mobile healthcare network throughout the Mid-South and is currently accepting applications from experienced, dependable Mobile Phlebotomists.
We are building a network of healthcare professionals to support mobile phlebotomy, laboratory specimen collection, insurance and paramedical examinations, occupational health services, biometric screenings, drug testing, and other healthcare services as our organization continues to grow.

Position Overview
The Mobile Phlebotomist will perform assigned specimen-collection and related services at various locations, which may include patients' homes, worksites, healthcare facilities, assisted living facilities, physician offices, and other designated locations.
Assignments may include routine and specialty laboratory specimen collection, insurance/paramedical examinations, drug testing, biometric screenings, and other services within the contractor's qualifications and scope of practice.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling using aseptic techniques to collect high-quality specimens.
- Accurately process, handle, and label specimens following laboratory protocols to ensure integrity and safety.
- Obtain vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to assist in patient assessment.
- Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures clearly, ensuring comfort, and addressing concerns with professionalism.
- Assist with specimen processing, including centrifugation, aliquoting, and preparing samples for laboratory testing.
- Support patients of all ages—including pediatrics and geriatrics—by demonstrating empathy and understanding their unique needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to infection control standards such as aseptic technique and proper specimen handling.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current phlebotomy certification required
- Minimum 2 years of current phlebotomy experience
- ASCP, AMT, or NHA certification preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Comfortable traveling throughout the assigned service area
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned cases professionally
- Strong communication and patient-service skills
- HIPAA compliance
- Professional liability coverage required
Equipment/Technology
Contractors should have access to:
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Smartphone/cell phone
- Printer
- Large/adult blood pressure cuff
- Stethoscope
- Scale
- Cloth measuring tape
- Measuring tape
MobiMed Plus will provide applicable supplies and equipment as determined by the service or assignment.
Compensation
Compensation is based on the completed case and may range from $20–$50 per case, depending on the service and assignment.
Additional mileage compensation may be provided for travel outside the contractor's designated home service area.
