Shipping Receiving Coordinator
7am-4:40pm Mon-Thurs

POSITION OVERVIEW
This role supports day-to-day shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and plant logistics. The Shipping & Receiving Specialist prepares outbound shipments, coordinates incoming deliveries, maintains organized material locations, and safely operates assigned material-handling equipment.
SHIPPING & LOGISTICS RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare outbound shipping manifests in accordance with company and customer guidelines.
- Apply all required labels to the appropriate skids, parts, and shipment materials.
- Build pallets, skids, and containers as needed to support production and outgoing shipments.
- Process daily UPS, FedEx, and other carrier shipments as required.
- Receive deliveries, record incoming items, and distribute packages throughout the facility.
- Receive inbound trucks carrying components, subcontracted parts, empty bins, materials, oils, and other supplies.
- Stage finished product for shipment and load orders according to the outbound shipping schedule.
- Ensure product is distributed or consumed in line with production schedules and demand.
- Coordinate pickup and delivery times with transportation providers.
- Receive and coordinate vendor orders and deliveries, routing materials to the appropriate departments.
INVENTORY & MATERIAL ORGANIZATION
- Participate in company inventory activities and related requirements.
- Place materials and finished goods safely in designated storage areas and ensure all items include the required labels and documentation.
- Maintain available empty-bin and rack locations to support production needs.
PLANT & SAFETY SUPPORT
Safely operate assigned mobile equipment, including forklifts and tuggers, while remaining alert to pedestrians and all applicable safety requirements.
Immediately report missing, damaged, or defective equipment or protective devices that could create a safety risk for yourself or others.
Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety, quality and environmental systems, human resources policies, and the employee handbook.
