NOW HIRING – SUPPLY CHAIN INBOUND TRANSPORTATION CLERK
Pay: $18.00/hour
Full-Time | Must be flexible for any shift
Schedule may change based on business needs
Position Summary
We are hiring a Supply Chain Inbound Transportation Clerk to join our transportation team. This is a computer-based logistics position focused on freight billing, load building, data entry, transportation reports, and supporting daily inbound transportation operations.
What You Will Do
- Create freight bills using TruckMate.
- Build and review transportation loads to ensure they are accurate.
- Enter and update information in TruckMate and Excel.
- Review and filter transportation reports.
- Respond to daily emails and requests from the SCIT team.
- Handle last-minute requests for load building.
- Assist with transportation data and the EDI process.
- Communicate with team members and management regarding transportation information.
- Assist with special projects and other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good math and analytical skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills.
- Ability to work with reports and enter data accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Transportation management system experience is a plus.
- TruckMate or PC*Miler experience is preferred.
Schedule & Environment
- Must be flexible to work 1st and 2nd shifts, as schedules may change based on business needs.
- Weekends and holidays may be required.
- Position requires sitting at a computer for extended periods.
- Work is performed in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures.
- Must be comfortable handling last-minute requests and changing priorities.
