Job duties for Maintenance Technician:
-
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on machinery, systems, and equipment to ensure optimal operation

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or hydraulic issues to minimize downtime
-
Install, adjust, and calibrate new or repaired equipment to maintain production efficiency

Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment records, and inventory of critical spare parts
-
Utilize hand and workshop tools for assembly, repair, and basic welding tasks
-
Install and service mechanical components such as motors, conveyors, bearings, pumps, and gear systems
-
Participate in safety, productivity, and cost-saving initiatives while ensuring compliance with company standards
-
Train and share technical knowledge with other personnel and engage in required training sessions
-
Contribute ideas for process or equipment improvements and perform other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications and desired skills for Maintenance Technician:

High School Diploma or GED

Resume Required

Certificate or Vocational school training or equivalent work experience

2 - 5 years’ experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred

Good understanding of basic math, reading and writing is a must
-
Strong written/verbal communication skills, and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
