American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Asheville, NC, requiring 2+ years of experience and demonstrated skill level 3 or higher in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular surgical service lines.

Located at a 815-bed Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center in Asheville, NC

Assignment in the Operating Room (OR) department

Broad surgical caseload including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma cases

Patient ratio of 1:1

Shift hours are 8:45 AM – 7:15 PM on a variable schedule

On-call is required

Floating to other departments may be required

Charting is performed in Cerner
-
Scrubs are provided by the facility

Active NC or Compact RN license required
-
BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)

Minimum 2 years of recent OR/surgical nursing experience required

Must have a skill level of 3 or higher in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular — no exceptions

SSN (US only, no Canadian) and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required if from Florida or Missouri)
