Ontario Refrigeration operates from 10 locations in the Western United States and has a 65 year track record of service excellence.
Job Summary:
As a key member of the Accounting Team this position is responsible for ensuring timely payments from our commercial customers and monitoring and tracking payment status. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent phone skills. Outbound calls and emails to commercial customers to coordinate payments are the primary responsibilities of this position.
Responsibilities:
- Outbound collection calls or emails with business customers
- Regular interaction with senior management regarding issues and strategies
- Customer accounts reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable aging analysis
- Accountable for reducing delinquency for accounts
- Handling chargebacks such as shortages, rebates, discounts, allowances, defectives.
- Processing Cash Receipts and Credit Memos
- Preparing Final Demand letters
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient with MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, think strategically, problem solve and collaborate with team members
- Highly motivated and results-focused
