Pleasant Valley Manor is a licensed Residential Care Facility providing care to primarily elderly individuals and is a part of West Vue, Inc. continuum care retirement community. We are located in West Plains, Missouri and have been providing long term care to the area since 1965. West Vue is a Christian-based organization and operates as a drug-free workplace. Payscale
$15.00 - $21.90 depending on job experience
- We are looking for a motivated CMT to work on the Day Shift. Duties of the CMT include preparation and dispensing of medications per physician orders, communicate with providers and families as needed and provide protective oversight to 35 - 45 elderly residents. The ideal candidate should have an up-to-date CMT license. If you have previous experience in long term care, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful CMT will provide exceptional care to our elders and become a part of our West Vue family.
Responsibilities:
- Perform supervisor duties in the absence of the Nurse Manager and Facility Manager/Administrator such as:
evaluate changes in condition and report to a supervisor, families and providers as necessary;
accept calls and relay messages to appropriate personnel.
- Availability to residents/emergencies for shifts worked overnight and remain in the facility during the shift with paid break periods being provided.
- Assist elders with Activities of Daily Living
- Light Housekeeping
Requirements:
- Maintain a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) license approved by the State of Missouri.
- Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of elders during emergency situations.
- Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility, which include a physical examination.
