Ink Associate
Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent manufacturer in the Chester area, is seeking a Production Associate to join their team!
Ink Job Summary:
Payrate: $15 an hour
Shifts: Rotating shifts.
Must be able to work ALL 3 Shifts.
- 1st Shift 7:00am – 3:00pm
- 2nd Shift 3:00pm – 11:00pm
- 3rd Shift 11:00pm – 7:00am
Ink Associate Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust, and safely operate heavy manufacturing machinery, such as extrusion lines, blown film winders, glue machines and folder/stackers
- Visually inspect packaging product for proper width, gauge, length and defects
- Load finished components into printers, pack parts according to specified count and apply labels to shipping boxes
- Complete necessary paperwork and perform accurate computer data entries to log daily production metrics
- Clean machinery parts, clear product feed jams, and maintain general plant housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned
Ink Associate Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is standard
- 2 years Experience in a printing/packaging environment
- 2 years experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Basic Computer literacy, a working knowledge of manufacturing math, calculating weights and measures and the ability to read blueprints or production order sheets
- Heavy Lifting 50 – 65 pounds
- Able to stand, walk, bend or kneel for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to climb stairs
- Able to work all 3 shifts on a rotating schedule
- Able to work Over Time if needed
