Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Apparel Decorator to join our creative team! In this role, you will be responsible for transforming design concepts into finished apparel products through various decorating techniques. Your expertise will help ensure each piece meets high-quality standards and aligns with brand aesthetics. Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up apparel for decoration, including fabric selection and garment positioning
- Operate screen printing equipment, heat presses, embroidery machines, and other decorating tools with precision
- Collaborate with design teams to interpret artwork files and ensure accurate reproduction on garments
- Apply various decoration techniques such as digital printing, sublimation, embroidery, and heat transfer
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the decorating process to maintain consistency and excellence
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and equipment maintenance protocols
- Document production processes and assist in troubleshooting technical issues as needed
Requirements
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across creative teams and production staff
Prefferred Experience
- Proven experience in apparel decoration, screen printing, embroidery or related visual arts fields
- Proficiency with graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Corel Draw
- Strong understanding of color theory, typography, layout design, and digital art principles
