Lead Preschool Teacher (Bilingual English/Spanish)

Joyful Journeys Montessori is looking for a passionate, nurturing, and experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to join our growing team. We are a small Montessori school that values community, respect, independence, and a love for learning.
The ideal candidate is a strong classroom leader who can create a positive learning environment, guide children's behavior with kindness and consistency, and support children's academic and social-emotional development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a preschool classroom (ages 3–6 years)
- Implement Montessori-inspired lessons and activities
- Teach early reading, writing, language, and math skills
- Lead circle time, group activities, and outdoor play
- Foster independence, confidence, and a love of learning
- Guide behavior using positive discipline and redirection
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with the school leadership team
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience working with preschool-age children
- Montessori experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills
- Positive, patient, and professional attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively with families and staff
- Reliable, organized, and passionate about early childhood education
