Positions and exposes the breast with the prescribed doses of radiation under the supervision of the Radiologist. Ensures patient information entered into MagView & Radiant MAM module is accurate and complete.
Salary
$42 an hour - Per Diem Rate
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Job Requirements
Education: Graduate of an approved school for Radiologic Technology; Mammography License preferred
Experience: Continuing experience of performing at least 200 mammograms in 24 months or criteria to be re-certified; Minimum 1 year of mammography experience preferred
License/Certification Required: license in good standing with the American registry of Radiological Technology; Certification in Mammography with ARRT preferred; continuing education of 24 credit hours per biennium; 15 credit hours in film screen mammography preferred; 8 credit hours in digital mammography preferred
Skills: Ability to perform mammograms digitally preferred; must have QC/QA knowledge, PACS experience helpful
