Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Worker to join our manufacturing team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the manufacturing facility and office spaces through thorough cleaning and custodial tasks. Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across various areas
- Conduct detailed floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain surface quality
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks involving heavy-duty equipment and specialized cleaning agents
- Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs, painting, and general custodial maintenance as needed
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and replenished
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents during cleaning procedures
- Assist with special projects such as deep cleaning or event setup when required
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or manufacturing settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures and safety standards
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
