Family-owned site work and utility company seeking experienced construction laborers and equipment operators to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Loading, handling, and transporting materials and equipment safely
- Laying pipe for sanitary, water, and storm lines
- Setting manholes and other precast structures
- Make and verify joint connections, pipe flow lines, grades, and alignments
- Concrete work as part of utility installs
- Hand tool work such as saws, shovel, sledge hammer, etc.
- Operating various equipment and/or performing labor as necessary for installation of utilities and site grading, etc. Backhoe, trackhoe, mini excavator, high loader, wheel loader, & HDD.
Job Qualifications:
- CDL Class A license preferred
- Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment preferred
- Experience in sewer/water line installation preferred
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations/accidents
- Reliable and safety oriented
- Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
