Overview
Currently seeking an experienced probate paralegal to join a fast growing firm in Brevard County. The firm focuses primarily on estate planning, elder law, probate, and trust administration. The perfect fit is someone who wants to support our attorneys in various estate planning legal matters, ensuring compliance and facilitating efficient operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with scheduling, calendars, special projects, and communications
- Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and agreements
- Prepare and analyze documents from clients, parties, and non-parties
- Maintain organized case files and ensure accurate documentation
- General case management
- Scan incoming mail and monitor deadlines
- Make outgoing calls to clients and external contactn
- Review and proofread contracts and agreements
Experience
- 5+ years of law firm experience in probate
- Strong knowledge of estate planning and probate
- Familiarity with filing court documents in state and federal court (e-portal/pacer)
- Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Motivated, Independent and detail-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiar with legal terminology
- Typing speed 55+ wpm
- Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certification preferred
- Bilingual a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
