Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards, maintaining consistency and freshness.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing any questions or concerns with enthusiasm.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and providing correct change.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, sanitizing food prep areas, and adhering to sanitation standards.
- Assist with food safety practices, proper food handling procedures, and ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for sales transactions, and quick math for accurate change are essential.
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or working in a café or grocery store environment is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is highly valued.
