We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Deputy Project Manager to support large-scale engineering and manufacturing projects. This role works closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate project activities, manage vendor performance, track deliverables, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with day-to-day project execution and coordination activities.
- Assist in overseeing project coordinators and monitoring project progress.
- Manage vendor relationships during production, delivery, and warranty phases.
- Coordinate project correspondence, including letters, meeting minutes, reports, and memos.
- Maintain project databases, action item logs, and deliverable tracking systems.
- Monitor schedules, milestones, and project performance metrics.
- Track and manage closure of project deliverables and open action items.
- Identify project risks and assist in developing mitigation plans.
- Support contract administration and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Participate in meetings with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with financial milestone planning and project reporting.
- Support negotiations with suppliers and vendors under management guidance.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management and customer review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, project engineering, or project administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience coordinating vendors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Knowledge of project scheduling, deliverable tracking, and risk management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Strong meeting facilitation, organization, and follow-up skills.

Pay: $112,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
