Our PHP/IOP program in SE Portland is looking for a licensed Mental Health Therapist for individual and group therapy. This position is full-time and exempt, with hours 8AM - 4PM Monday through Friday.
Basic Functions and Responsibilities:
- Performs initial interviews & assessments.
- Provides ongoing evaluation of individuals through the collection and synthesis of bio-psychosocial information from participants, families, referral sources, peers, and others as appropriate.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions.
- Attend and participate in all staff meetings.
- Maintain documentation and clinical/group notes following professional protocol and standard of care.
- Familiarization with client charts on an ongoing basis, awareness of all pertinent client information.
- Demonstrates competencies that reflect current standards of chemical dependency knowledge, skills, and attitudes of professional practice.
- Consult as needed with Executive Director, Medical Director, Director of Admission, and client therapists
- Possesses a working knowledge of drug treatment facilities and treatment modalities
- Able to work with diverse populations.
- Supervise associate clinical staff.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Primary Therapist Qualifications/ Required Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Social Services/Sciences or related field, plus two years experience in clinical practice required.
- Experience with addiction clients
- Maintain appropriate Oregon State licensure.
- Respect for the confidentiality of all communications required within job duties, including client/employee records and documents, and electronic transmission by voice, data, and wire.
- Drug-free; no misuse of alcohol or drugs while employed as a therapist.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: LPCC, LCSW, LMFT

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
