Job Description
Tabula Rasa the Language Academy has an opening for a Georgia Pre-K Assistant Teacher for 2026-27 scholastic year. This is a full-time (7.30am-4.30pm) position with benefits. The salary for this position is set by Georgia Department of Education. GA Pre-K Program is offered completely in English.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school Diploma and CDA, or willing to start CDA within the next 3 months
- At least one year experience in daycare with 3 and 4 year old students
- Native English required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Supports Leader Teacher with planning and preparing a variety of learning activities
- Maintain a positive and safe learning environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process taking place on a daily basis.
- Maintain a clean, attractive and organized learning environment.
- Assist in the enforcement of school rules.
- Knowledge of child development and especially of characteristics of Pre-K age students
- Foster student responsibility, appropriate social behavior, integrity, valuing of cultural diversity, and respect for self and others by role modeling and learning
- Demonstrate attention to punctuality, attendance, records and maintain confidentiality of student and other professionals in the building.
- Support school improvement initiatives by active participation in school activities, services and events.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Light Work: Up to 10 pounds of force as needed to move objects. UP to 50 pounds if needed to help a child physically.
Salary: It depends on your qualifications, teacher license and years of experience. Different levels of pay are already assigned by the State.
