Position Summary:
This position provides technical support, service for the equipment process within the manufacturing operation. Performs general maintenance repairs, cleaning, sanitizing and set up of manufacturing, filling and packaging equipment within established standards. The role will also require the individual to support the continuous improvement of the overall facility maintenance operation as well as root cause analysis and problem solving to ensure efficient manufacture and packaging processes.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for efficient operation, corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment start up.
- Conducts quality inspections to verify all parts meet specifications and quality standards.
- Must meet and/or exceed established production, line set-up and quality standards as defined.
- Communicate with Operator and Supervisor on all issues concerning quality, line set up, clearance, components and machine performance in a timely manner.
- Complete downtime log accurately.
- Assure that all labeling documentation; e.g. samples, waste is properly identified.
- Knowledgeable of all appropriate SOP’s.
- Keeps work area clean and orderly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and health and safety requirements.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety, documentation and attendance requirements.
- Accurately complete all paperwork and maintain all files associated with the position.
- Participate in performance improvement measures and tasks. Recommends improvements.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including but not limited to performing other job classifications as necessary by production schedules and other operating needs.
Job Requirements and Educations:
- Use of hands 100% of the workday.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend and stoop throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures Hot/Cold.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
