- Our headquarters, production, and distribution center in Eugene, Oregon.
- A second production facility in Vietnam.
By managing every stage of manufacturing in-house, we maintain complete control over quality and production.
Position Summary
Whittier is seeking a Bilingual Accounting Specialist (English/Vietnamese) to support our accounting teams in both the United States and Vietnam. This role serves as a key liaison between our two operations, helping ensure effective communication and accurate financial processes.
The ideal candidate will work from our Eugene, Oregon office on a hybrid schedule reporting directly to our CFO. We are also open to discussing a more remote work arrangement for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with our accounting team in Vietnam to ensure accurate and consistent accounting practices.
- Assist with communication between U.S. and Vietnam operations.
- Assist with cost accounting functions.
- Process accounts payable (AP).
- Help maintain fixed asset records.
- Perform inventory and general ledger reconciliations.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department.
- Assist with additional accounting projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent accounting experience.
- Fluency in both Vietnamese and English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to travel to Vietnam as business needs require.
- Experience working with ERP platforms such as Infor CSI/Syteline, SAP, Oracle ERP Cloud, Infor, or NetSuite
- Knowledge with Vietnam Accounting Standards is ideal but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $28.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Open to full time or part-time schedule
