Our facility provides daycare, lodging and training in Land O Lakes, Florida.
Previous kennel/daycare experience that can be verified is preferred and a plus. However, even without kennel experience longevity at prior jobs in a candidates work history is taken into consideration as we are looking for long term employees. MUST WORK WEEKENDS/HOLIDAYS! MUST BE RELIABLE, DEPENDABLE, PUNCTUAL!!
Job includes all facets of kennel duties, i.e. letting dogs in and out of play yards, putting dogs away for break time, changing the water in the swimming pools, cleaning dishes, scooping poop and disposing of it properly, general cleaning of the facility, and monitoring play time. We require that someone remain with the dogs the duration of the time they are playing and require someone who has knowledge of dog behavior in terms of when dogs are overly excited or aggressive. You must be confident in being able to discourage inappropriate behavior in dogs such as digging, rough play, barking, etc. We also need you to take photos during playtime.
This is outside, so you must be able to be outside doing physical labor and monitor the dogs.

- Professional – in terms of interacting with customers and dress
- experience at dog daycare/kennel or longevity in work history
- Be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Valid driver’s license
- High School diploma or equivalent
- No more than 2 jobs in the past 12 month period
