We operate two parallel go-to-market strategies: direct enterprise sales into health systems, specialty care, and medical device manufacturers, and a partner-led channel through a strategic partnership targeting medical device companies with products and solutions for Prior Authorization automation, benefits verification, analytics and reporting. With 18 years of healthcare technology experience behind us and an aggressive commercial pivot underway, we bring deep domain credibility to a market we know well.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a hunter-minded enterprise sales executive who brings an existing book of relationships in health systems and/or medical device companies and the credibility to open doors at the CFO, VP Revenue Cycle, and VP Market Access level. This is a ground-floor commercial role where you'll define our sales playbook, land marquee accounts, and help shape the future of a company solving one of healthcare's most persistent and increasingly regulated pain points.
This isn't a role where you'll be handed a territory and a CRM full of warm leads. You'll be expected to leverage your network, move with urgency, and thrive in a startup environment where agility and judgment matter as much as process.
This is a full-time remote position, reporting to the CEO.
What You'll Do
Drive New Business
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for net-new enterprise accounts in health systems, specialty care networks, and medical device companies
- Leverage your existing network to generate early pipeline and accelerate time-to-first-deal
- Identify, engage, and build multi-threaded relationships with key economic and clinical decision-makers (VP Revenue Cycle, CFO, VP Market Access, CMO, Director PA/RCM)
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals involving IT, legal, compliance, and clinical operations
Build the Playbook
- Partner with leadership to refine ICP, messaging, and sales process as we scale from early adopters to repeatable motion
- Develop competitive positioning and objection-handling frameworks rooted in real buyer conversations
- Provide structured market feedback to product and GTM teams to inform roadmap and pricing decisions
Represent Hiive in the Market
- Attend and actively prospect at key industry conferences (HIMSS, ViVE, HFMA, MedTech-focused events)
- Build Hiive's reputation with health system operators and medical device commercial teams as a go-to trusted advisor on PA automation and RCM efficiency
What We're Looking For
Must-Haves
- 5–10+ years of enterprise sales experience in health IT, RCM technology, or medical device industries
- Existing, warm relationships with decision-makers at health systems (CFO, VP Revenue Cycle, CIO/CMIO) and/or medical device commercial / market access teams
- Demonstrated track record of closing six- and seven-figure enterprise deals in a complex, consultative sales environment
- Strong command of the healthcare revenue cycle, you can speak fluently about claims workflows, denial management, payer adjudication, and the PA lifecycle
- Comfort operating in a small company: resourceful, self-directed, and energized by ambiguity rather than paralyzed by it
Strong Pluses
- Direct experience selling prior authorization automation, benefits verification, or RCM workflow technology
– Familiarity with platforms like Waystar, Availity, Careviso, Experian Health, or similar
- Experience selling into medical device companies on market access, PA support services, or patient services programs
- Understanding of the CMS FHIR-based ePA mandate (CMS-0057-F) and how it shapes payer and provider technology buying decisions
- Experience with channel/partner-led sales in addition to direct enterprise sales

Deeply understand Hiive's products; tap your network and identify 2–3 near-term pipeline opportunities
90 Days
Build an active pipeline of $500K–$1M+ in qualified opportunities; land first enterprise contract or LOI; provide meaningful input to GTM messaging and pricing
12 Months
Close $2M+ ARR in new logos across health system and/or medical device segments; establish Hiive as a known brand in your buyer ecosystem; mentor future sales hires
