About the Maintenance Technician Role
Crown Staffing is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Frankfort, KY. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining industrial equipment to support safe and efficient production operations.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience with industrial maintenance, and the ability to support preventative maintenance programs while helping improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, test, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical systems
- Perform preventative, predictive, emergency, and corrective maintenance activities
- Diagnose equipment failures and assist with downtime and root-cause analysis
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, technical drawings, diagrams, and specifications
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Document maintenance activities and provide updates for preventative maintenance programs
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, safety, and operational standards are met
- Identify equipment issues and recommend process improvements
- Coordinate maintenance activities around production schedules
- Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company safety, environmental, and quality procedures
- Communicate effectively with production, maintenance, and support teams
- Assist with training and coaching less-experienced team members
- Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned
Maintenance Technician Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
- Previous industrial maintenance experience or technical training preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, manuals, and equipment specifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Preventative and predictive maintenance experience preferred
