Salon & Job Overview
Two Twenty-Two Brow & Lash Studio is a small business located in the heart of downtown Mechanicsburg, PA, centered around providing our clients with high quality services and an inviting atmosphere. Our goal is for all of our clients to have fun, build strong and trusting relationships with our technicians, and feel their most beautiful inside and out. Two Twenty-Two is owned by Riley, who opened the salon in June 2022. You will be working along-side Riley, Karly (an esthetics technician of 222), and Willow (an esthetics technician of 222).
We are looking to hire a licensed esthetician to join the team and help us expand into new lash services. Our ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of previous job experience in performing lash and/or brow services, customer service experience, a positive and innovative attitude, and a passion for the beauty industry. Certifications in dermaplaning and lash lifts are preferred but not required. Any necessary trainings/certifications in will be paid for by employer (222).
Duties
- Perform high-quality lash and brow services, ensuring proper techniques and safety protocols are followed.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and provide suitable lash/brow styles.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in lashes, brows and related beauty services.
- Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and client checkout.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive atmosphere within the salon.
More Details
- This is a specialist role - you will be performing 1-3 types of services maximum to ensure that your professional role is tailored to be "specialist" specific.
- This role can be either W-2 or 1099 (independent contractor) based on your preference.
- This is a commission-based pay structure - more information about our commission specifics will be provided during the interview.
- We are looking to provide our clients with unique and tailored lash and brow services. Innovation and creativity are strongly encouraged in this role.
- Two Twenty-Two will pay for any courses/certifications necessary to help you feel comfortable and confident in the quality of services you provide.
- Two Twenty-Two does not require the signing of any non-compete agreements.
Requirements
- Esthetics and/or Cosmetology license.
- At least 6 months of lash and/or brow experience.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices within a salon environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for beauty trends.
- Understanding of social media marketing.
- Professional social media presence.
