Pathways II Destiny Learning Center is a faith-based early learning center dedicated to guiding children according to God’s will and purpose. We provide a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where children are encouraged to grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically. We partner with families to support each child’s unique journey and God-given potential.
Position Summary
We are seeking loving, dependable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teachers for part-time and full-time positions. Teachers at Pathways II Destiny play an essential role in creating a positive, Christ-centered classroom environment while supporting children through developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered classroom environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and daily activities
- Supervise children at all times to ensure health and safety
- Support children’s spiritual, social, emotional, and academic development
- Maintain positive, respectful communication with families and staff
- Follow all Ohio childcare licensing regulations and center policies
- Participate in daily routines (meals, diapering, toileting, rest time)
- Model Christ-like behavior and serve as a positive role model for children
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, or degree (preferred but not required)
- Experience working with young children (preferred)
- Ability to pass background checks and meet Ohio childcare licensing requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, positive, and team-oriented
- Alignment with Christian values and a passion for working with children
