Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our team. The Bakery Assistant will support the baking team in preparing and producing high-quality baked goods.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of doughs, batters, and other ingredients
- Operate baking equipment under supervision
- Assist in decorating and packaging finished products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
-Ability and willingness to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Including up and down a set of stairs
- Follow food safety standards and protocols
- Provide support during peak hours or special events
- Part Time Evening Shifts
Experience:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food preparation setting is a plus
- Knowledge of baking techniques and equipment
- Ability to follow recipes accurately, including measurements and conversions
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
